9March 2022The use of Stat-X generators for fire suppression in Energy Storage is a great fit. ESS requires thoughtful, responsible design and deployment based on the amount of energy being stored in a single cell, module, rack, or full container. Although fire is unlikely, there have been examples of unprotected or improperly protected ESS installations subjected to significant damage and can create dangerous situations for employees and responders. Use of Stat-X in these applications greatly mitigates the risk of thermal runaway propagation and damage outside the affected battery rack or container.
