When Paracosma was founded in 2016, surveys showed over 88% of companies were planning or developing Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) projects. But, projects were delayed because those companies did not have developers with AR/VR skills, they did not have enough developers, or due to budgets. Because of those issues, more than 55% of companies said they were likely to extremely likely to outsource AR/VR development. Paracosma was founded to address that need for highly skilled developers at affordable costs. Demand for AR/VR developers has continued to increase since then, and we continue to grow our teams to meet that demand.2. How can you seamlessly fill the expanding need that companies have for experienced AR/VR developers and artists at a time when they are in great demand and short supply?From the beginning, Paracosma has been a global organization, with its US headquarters in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area, a technology and sales office in Tokyo, Japan and development center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Most companies are familiar with the strength of India as a tech center, but do not know it shares an open border with Nepal. There are 30 million people in Nepal, so you can find as many brilliant people as California or Tokyo. We recruit the top graduates from the best public and private universities in Nepal, who are trained to the same standards as India, but who do not have the same opportunities.
