Ben also has an incisive and inquisitive mind never accepting the first answer to a question. He always digs deeper until the issue on the table is fully vetted. For Ben, there are no shortcuts. There is a great quote by Lionel Messi, the greatest football player in the history of the world. He says, "I start early and stay late, day after day, year after year. It took me 17 years and 114 days to succeed overnight." You must put in the work," explains Ben. "I have been an entrepreneur and real estate developer for over thirty years. The journey is long and full of ups and downs. The most important thing for anyone to understand is there is no way to avoid those ups and downs. They will happen." To be successful, leaders must train their intellect to not react to extremes, knowing that nothing is permanent, the ups won't last, and the downs won't last. He adds, "Remain steadfast throughout it all because, at the end of the day, nothing is permanent in this life. I have had 10 startups, and the biggest lesson is that--Failures are the key to success." Ben Badiee believes in the Unique Ability Model approach to building an organization.
